households without music are strange to me—something is missing, and there is less joy among the people there.

I grew up in a house with music, we had a piano. My sister could actually play it. I took lessons, I was in the church choir until my voice changed.

My Father bought albums, so did my sisters. They listened to the radio too.

Some people were just brought up without the exposure to culture.
