I haven’t found this feature anywhere. It’s often used on reddit to make sure a post’s content doesn’t disappear if a subreddit gets removed or is shut down for some reason. (edit: or recently wasn’t accessible because a subreddit went private in protest or otherwise. Or, more normally, you want a single content page...
I had the same issue, newer posts however should work fine, it’s just the old posts before you subscribed don’t seem to fetch the comments properly. I hope it will get sorted out soon.
used this app during the ugly alpha Testflight days. Loved it and how responsive Christian was. When Pro came out I bought it and when Ultra came out I got lifetime....
Still though, who knows how long that may last, I can’t imagine using reddit without 3rd party apps otherwise. I’m loving Lemmy so far and even RedReader seemed to have plans to support other platforms including Lemmy someday, so that’s exciting.
the dev is strong on the philosophy of keeping it free and open source. So it won’t ever require subscription, which also partly what allowed reddit to give the exemption as a ‘non commercial’ app. As for how long it may last, I don’t know, they were worried about this too, that a lot of 3rd party users would migrate to this app and reddit may change their mind.
So for those of you who were refreshing the page and looking at our wonderful maintenance page it took way longer than we planned! A full write up I’ll do after I’ve dealt with a couple time out issues....
no worries, it’s all fine. It’s good to learn from these type of mistakes early on before we grow too much, thank you for all your work, must be tough being a sysadmin.
Works for me, posting from Jerboa right now from another instance. Lemmy is under active development and things may break from time to time, keep your app updated and hopefully it'll just be fixed with time.

Is there a lemmy equivalent to posting under your own user profile on reddit? (not attached to a specific subreddit or community)

Community appears to be completely empty in Jerboa/other instances (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
On jerboa through lemmy.blahaj.zone i don't see any posts, but i do see them on https://lemmy.ml/c/osu, is it purposefully setup like that?
