Gotta say, the process of trying to become an IEEE member doesn't scream "high standard of software development" so far.
Did you know that, while completing your IEEE membership application, one of the add-on memberships you can add is an IEEE membership? I wonder if picking that addon further enables me to get an IEEE membership.
@drcaberry you'll like this...in our office on Friday, two people were looking for a good place to ground something. I suggested they just run a wire out the window and bury it in the dirt. One said, "Hey, we can do better than that! Just fill up a drink bottle with dirt and put it in there! Voila! Mobile earth!" We all had a good laugh.
