xhci,

I’ll have to check! This is one of my older pics, but I should still have the raw file floating around. I’ll reply if I can find it.

I do know it’s only marginally cropped if at all.

xhci,

That’s good feedback! I don’t remember a lot to work with from the raw, but I’ll see what I can dig up! I should have time tomorrow to get to the bottom of this and a question on another photo.

xhci,

It turns out I have a couple more - this is the one where the boat is most towards the center (still not by a lot). I think I used it as a desktop wallpaper, so enjoyed the extra space on the right for icons.

(ps - the colors are all wonky, because I did a raw export from apple photos)

xhci,

Thanks! I got lucky with this one. It was one my first dSLR pictures.

xhci,

Hey! Thanks!

This was shot through a window into a shop display at night. It was just kind of a neat texture they had used for the backdrop behind some display items. The area in question is probably a couple feet across. I think the raw file is still floating around somewhere, and I’ll follow-up with the focal length if I can find it.

I processed the image with DxO to remove lens distortion & straighten everything.

xhci,

Thanks! These are most of the good ones! I’m just a mediocre amateur, so have maybe a 1:10,000 success rate 😜

I have a couple more from Asia I’m wanting to get to as I have time.

xhci,

Definitely great fun! Plus nowadays that everything is geo/date tagged, and at minimum it’s a fun little catalog of my life.

xhci,

This was a few winters ago, but the mountains around here got 8-15” last weekend!

(For some more context, I’m re-discovering old photos I took and want to share now that I’m on Lemmy)

xhci,

Thanks for the kind words! It’s a very special place to me with great memories 😁

xhci,

Thanks!

xhci,

It is! Around 10 years ago if I’m remembering correctly. Time flies 😜

xhci,

I just wanted to add that I’m 99% sure I used a polarizing filter for this shot.

xhci,

Hahaha. It’s super fun to try pronouncing names there!

xhci,

This doesn’t answer your question, but I do have experience with applications like these. They are typically hastily coded to satisfy some arcane requirements, and give little thought to supporting non-mainstream setups. If you need SEB for something important, it may be worth trying to acquire a cheap windows laptop.

I always run into weird edge cases even if I can get software like that running, which often can be pretty detrimental.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I ran into this over and over with university and corporate software. I think the best course of action would be to write your controlling entity and let them know what’s going on (also maybe they’d give you a loaner computer).
