I'm trying to find a good CRT shader for RetroArch to preserve transparency effects (like the waterfalls in Sonic 2) and dithering. The problem is, a lot of shaders that are lightweight enough (easymode, lottes-fast, etc.) don't seem to do the trick, the ones that work well (sonkun, royale) are too heavy for the hardware, and...
There are so many things I could say, but if I'm being totally honest, white rice. I could eat it plain, with butter, with so many different sauces, under other food, mixed into other food, at any meal, as a snack, even multiple times a day. I never get tired of it.
Entirely subjective, but I often think of certain games as "summer games" because I played them in the summer as a kid. Tony Hawk games are absolutely on that list, as are Dave Mirra's BMX, Tomba! 2, Crash Bandicoot, the Sonic games, Vectorman, Mortal Kombat, Pokémon Stadium, Bomberman, etc.
Some games that actually have a summery vibe would be Cool Spot, Donkey Kong Country (1 and 2 mostly, and parts of 3), Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pitfall, Shantae, Banjo-Kazooie has some summery areas, maybe Yoshi's Story?
If the RP2+ had two joysticks and the chipset that's in the RP3+, it would be perfect, IMO. I really wish they'd make a PCB upgrade with RP3+ internals/joysticks but for the RP2+'s form factor.
Anyone have CRT shader suggestions for the RP2+?

Rather than a particular dish, what's your favourite food ingredient?
Eggs for me....
What is your favorite frozen food/meal?
Mine has to be Trader Joe's line of frozen Indian Food. The Palak Paneer is amazing!
What retro games would you consider perfect for summer?
Off the top of my head the Tony Hawk games spring to mind, but I’m curious what others think.
