ZombieBait,

Wishing baby, mom, and you the best of health. Lots of awesome advice here already but I'll add that depending where you are, and if you'll need it, you might want start looking into daycare now. Waitlists around here are months long.
Also, if there are pre-natal classes available, definitely check those out. My wife got a ton of good information but there was also lots of advice for the dads there too.
One final bit of advice which others have already mentioned, but is worth repeating is to have patience. Some days are going to be a slog and it will feel like things will never get back to the comfortable life you had before. And they actually won't, but you'll find yourself in a way better place than you could have imagined back then. I recommend the song You Ruined Everything which sums it up pretty well.

Does anyone know of any kid-friendly "horror" games out there for children ~7 years old?

My son loves the adrenaline rush of getting scared, particularly with jump scares, however, I have a lot of difficulty finding a game or show which is appropriate for him. He is prone to nightmares, and more adult-oriented “kid horror” is too much (Poppy’s Playtime, Cartoon Cat?) And others like Siren Head. His peers...

ZombieBait,

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a good game about ghosts that's not actually that scary. The school DLC for it can get a bit creepy though. Also, Subnautica is one of the scariest non-horror games out there.

ZombieBait,

Ghostwire Tokyo felt like a pretty good length for an open world game. There were a bunch of relatively short side quests, and the usual collectibles but the whole thing was 100% complete in under 30 hours. Thier rougelike DLC add-on might push it over that, but it's basically a whole separate game.

Split-screen/PVE recommendations for Switch?

Hey Fediverse, what split-screen games do you guys play? There's a ton of "100 best couch-sloth co-op split-screen Nintendo Switch games in 2023 that will make your head explode!" articles/blogspam out there in the Googleverse, but it's more helpful to me if I can get feedback from people who actually play these games. Like, all...

ZombieBait,

One I haven't seen listed you might want to check out is Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos. It's a co-op, roguelite dungeon crawler. It's surprisingly deep for a game we picked for about $3 on sale.
