What's your favourite thing about living in the Brisbane region?

Mine is easy access to the ocean, after growing up in Toowoomba and it being a nearly 3 hour trek to the seaside back then.

@Inamin And, as I just discovered, you can follow the group on Mastodon, but nothing shows up in the feed

@ada Is this something you can manipulate at the admin end?

I'm constantly looking through the "what's on this weekend in Brisbane" type websites. Which ones do you use?

@Squidcopter with the caveat that I really don't go out anymore because of COVID and the lack of mitigation and masking, I've bookmarked:

Since I live in Moreton region, I follow the council on Fakebook, and that's a fairly good way to find council-sponsored events.

Otherwise I would advise looking for local groups on Fakebook, or ones that cover your interests. I'm on a Brisbane specific mastodon server, and that occasionally chucks things out that I invariably never go to :)
