I just picked up my first NUC to expand my existing mini homelab.
My main motivation with this expansion was to segregate my containers on one device and storage on another. I previously had been running all my apps on my DIY NAS using TrueCharts within TrueNAS Scale.
I'm running most of my apps as Docker containers, some of which are exposed to the Internet via Cloudflare Tunnels, but most of which are limited to my local network.
