I was going to turn off Paramount + for a few months because I knew there was nothing that I would be interested until around August, and they offered me 2 free months if I didn't cancel.

So that worked out for me.

Since I'm not paying for that I'm going to restart Disney + and get caught up on all of the Star Wars and Doctor Who stuff.

I firmly believe the reason most people complain about paying for streaming, is because they don't cancel their subscription when there's nothing to watch.

My system is simple...

I have a monthly budget for streaming.

I only pay for streaming services where I am watching MULTIPLE shows on it.

If I'm not, I don't subscribe until I know there are SEVERAL shows that I'd like to watch.

If there are more services that have shows that I want to watch then what will fit in my budget, I will wait until an opening occurs.

That's pretty much it.

Sometimes things don't go the way you want them to and other times they do.

You can plan and plan and sometimes still not succeed.

You can sometimes not plan at all and stumble into success.

Either way, you are not your successes nor your failures.

Your value isn't how much you have or how high you've risen. It's in who you are as a person, and the empathy and kindness that you show others.

Be kind to yourself. You are unique and wonderful. Never forget that.

If you’re ever in California, and you’re not a resident, and you’re in a store where you’re experiencing an earthquake, don’t panic until you see someone 45 or over seeking shelter.

If you’ve lived in California long enough, you get a sense of how to know a “bad earthquake” from a “not so bad earthquake”.

Just basically do whatever the OG’s do and you’ll be safer.

Yikes!

I was sitting here typing on my keyboard when all of a sudden the front right wheel fell off and my laptop, and everything connected to the table (4 arms holding two tablets, a mic, and my camera.) started to fall off!

Fortunately my daughter was right next to me and helped me to catch it before everything just tumbles over.

I got it fixed, a bolt had broken loose from it's housing but I was able to repair it.

I also took the opportunity to clean the everything as well. So yay!
