She endorsed him for president.

He called Mitch McConnell's wife racial slurs.

If Republicans can't stand up for their spouses, why the hell would anyone expect them to stand up for America?"

"I’ve lost count of the number of people here who cited 2000 Mules as their proof of election fraud.

Voters, election workers and their families were threatened because of it.

Now its distributor is pulling both the movie and the book, admitting the narratives were fabricated.

The cons behind it made money, while their audience went further down the rabbit hole.

Just another ploy to rip the country apart."

"Bombshell investigation discovers that at least nine witnesses in Trump's numerous criminal trials have received massive pay raises, expensive severance packages, job offers, and shares and cash from Trump’s media company.

And it gets so much worse...

ProPublica discovered the blatantly corrupt operations by digging through public disclosures, court records and securities filings.

They found that one campaign aide saw his pay double to $53,500 a month. Another employee received a staggering $2 million severance package that prevented him from voluntarily cooperating with law enforcement — an obvious bribe to buy their silence.

ProPublica reports that these payouts and perks could be evidence of witness tampering, although it may be hard to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Notably, the pay increases and other alleged bribes often came at times when the legal proceedings against Trump were particularly tenuous. …"

"One aide who was rewarded with a coveted position on the board of Trump's social media company received it after he was subpoenaed but before he testified. The math is not hard to do here.

"It feels very shady, especially as you detect a pattern. … I would worry about it having a corrupt influence," Barbara McQuade, a former U.S. attorney told ProPublica.

Worse still, ProPublica cannot be sure that this is the full extent of the corruption. Payment from Trump's campaign are publicly disclosed, but the finances of his businesses are largely shrouded in secrecy. It's conceivable that he is privately paying out even more money to tamper with witnesses. …"

How United Sovereign Americans is Radicalizing an Anti-Voting Movement - Democracy Docket

"The strategy is to file as many lawsuits in as many states as possible, with the hope that at least one judge, somewhere, will rule in their favor, she told the Los Angeles Times.

“Marly Hornik has been quite open about what their stated goal is, which is essentially to create some sort of circuit split and get the Supreme Court to rule in their favor before the 2024 election,” Tulin noted. "

"United Sovereign Americans’ lawsuits might be a legal longshot, but it’s not the group’s only goal. USA is cultivating a grassroots movement that, much like in 2020 and 2022, is radicalizing a large swath of people across the country to become election vigilantes. The weekly meetings — which the group labels as Study Sessions — that Hornik hosts typically start simple enough, with a specific theme — like noncitizen voting or the Federalist Papers No. 10 — to give a brief lecture on before they devolve into a call to action, with Hornik preaching about the corruption of our elections."

"1. Unless the SCOTUS agrees with Trump that POTUS can harm justices with impunity, Trump's two federal trials will likely continue. If it is reasonably unlikely that the trials can be completed before the election then Jack Smith should consider the following:
2. In DC. Trump engaged in an organized violent attempt to overthrow US Constitution by attacking with a violent force with elements that were well-armed and waiting orders in Virginia. Whiskey Rebellion and Shays Rebellion support charge of Treason under the levies war clause
3. and statutory treason charge. Trump is likely under court supervision throughout the election and the addition of pre-trial supervision for a capital offense will be of little additional restriction NY won't have already imposed. There will be time for pretrial proceedings
4. to address superseding indictment in DC"

"5. In Florida, I believe the evidence shows the espionage conspiracy began on or before November 12, 2020 when @LeaderMcConnell fast-tracked Eileen Cannon's confirmation. If there's evidence of Kash Patel's involvement in the nomination then the decision to put her in place
6. post January 20, 2024, they could charge it. Even if they don't move on that, the extent of Trump's dissemination of highly-classified material has likely cause the death of at least a US asset and, if so, charge could be amended to offense carrying life under 18 USC 794(a).
7. Don't allow this conspiracy to re-emerge to destroy us."

'Give us a break': Right-wing radio host goes down in flames for attack on Justice Merchan - Raw Story

"1. It was $30. 2. Judge shopping for GOP judge in 85% Dem Manhattan just as wrong. 3. A judge who didn't give $30 could be more biased. 4. Merchan got ok from judicial ethics board. 5. He was overly fair to Trump. 6. A jury decided to convict Trump, who put up almost no defense."

James Surowiecki, an American journalist, said the "problem with this argument is that Aileen Cannon literally owes her job as a federal judge to Donald Trump, which is a massively greater conflict of interest than Merchan's, but no Trump supporters argued that she should recuse itself."

"It's honestly silly that we're pretending a judge who was literally appointed by Trump can impartially preside over a criminal case in which he's a defendant, but there it is," he added. "Next to that, Merchan's conflict of interest is trivial at worst.""

"The obscure U.S. intelligence bureau that got Vietnam, Iraq, and Ukraine right
Vox: Really interesting story about INR, or the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, a little-known bureau within the State Department, which often dissents from the rest of the intelligence community, and it's almost always right — even when other agencies are wrong. Vox's long-read on the INR is really good."

The DALEK World (1965) – Terence Eden’s Blog

"You're a big Doctor Who fan, right? If I asked you what the world DALEK meant, you'd probably tell me that it is an anagram of KALED - the original name of their species.
You'd be wrong.
In 1965, it was clearly established by a canonical source, that the world DALEK stands for:
Destroy without pity
Attack without fear
Live without conscience
Eliminate without worry
Kill, kill, kill, kill!
I ain't even lying!"
