@ralen_jor I'm glad to say that I will be slowly removing myself from not only META-based socials but also most Centralised ones as been enjoying the Fediverse so much better and I much prefer if people just message me through here.
I notice on a lot of mags, there is one or two people posting, and either 0, a handful, or quite a bit of upvotes, but no one is really engaging, most the time there are 0 comments....
@HeartyBeast Yeah this makes sense, I sadly still see upvotes in posts people create asking questions. When the OC tried to ask a question it's helpful to have an answer but yes not everyone should have to comment as it might not be useful and could clog up the feed.
@MelancholikhPatata Yeah I know I was barely using other Social Media and once I saw the Fediverse I knew I was in love with it, I'm glad I joined Kbin, sure it took me about two weeks to finally look into it and I've dropped pretty much every other Fediverse thing for this Instance as I love it so much. Glad I'm helping build something better for the internet.
@sebi It's trying to get people to keep up with it, it would be really hard to keep our smaller community of Fediverse users in control of what we are writing on Reddit as most of the current remaining Reddit users seem to rather not care or feel it's to complex.
So I help with a #TransPride website and wanted to implement ActivityPub into it allowing the Team to be able to write stuff on part of the Official Team....
@Millie I'm talking about another account, as this is my personal for none professional things. I'm trying to set up a Wordpress-based one with the ActivityPub Protocol, from what I've seen it just looks like a Kbin issue due to Character limits and stuff. I'm slowly working it out, just broke the website as of the moment so hope I can fix it soon.
@Millie My goal is pretty simple, I just want to make it so that I can post up updates that will end up on ActivityPub for people to see, instead of having to go to the website. Also, it allows people to comment and stuff on it and I can see it directly through the website.
As I will most likely keep using Kbin for my personal as don't really want to move away from it.
@Millie From what I can tell about the ActivityPub stuff, Kbin seems to have a wacky way of adding users into the system as Lemmy & Mastodon has worked fine in finding the correct username of @Sam
My next step is to work out if I can remove the www. as it's just really annoying but it's not necessary in my case to much ig.
@stopthatgirl7 The problem is people just want to get in the way of me and other Trans people from living our lives, it doesn't help they are literally trying to kill us as well as allies around us. Thank you for all the allies that do stand by our side, we are sorry you have to suffer the same pain for standing up for us being ourselves.
Not sure what the person you where commenting on said but I agree there is plenty of LGBTQIA+ people that suffer in silence or vocally, I am glad to be who I am and wish to continue being myself. I do not wish upon anyone death nor do I wish them harm. I wish that people would just support people for who they are and live in a more calm peaceful world, but sadly there is hatred and we have to defend our existence to be apart of this world compared to some people.
Reddit seems to be fully aware what users are likely to do in the current climate. Do they think people who aren’t angry will be louder than everyone else, do they have a plan for protests, or are they just letting the chips fall?
@svotay I feel as if Google has lost there touch on how to make the playstore good, Glad I only use it to download apps I already know I want to download instead of browsing to find new apps to try out.
What the title says. I think the site needs to reach critical mass sooner rather than later, and on top of the relatively low activity for now, we want to avoid obstacles to new migration, even if it's small convenience stuff. So, what would make your life easier as a kbin user?...
@That_Mad_Scientist From what I can tell, we are currently missing an actual App for Android and iOS but also it would be good if we could have a Magazine back log to check if there are past posts on External ones hosted on places like Lemmy.

@melroy Yeah I really do hope that in the future we will have a better way to transfer our data across instances as it would be a welcome change for people wanting to switch or if an instance is shutting down and users have to move about in the #Fediverse. It just allows people to control there data that little bit more and not loose things when something 'better' comes along.
