@MisuseCase@raph This is indeed very classic ultra-right behaviour, distrust of anyone and everyone but the leader.
As I argued in the blog post, it is the reward structure of the society that decides who become the elites of the next generation.
It looks to me that the reward for engaging in settlement expansion, arms development tested on palestinians, surveillance tech with the same guinea-pigs, became the dominant factor in deciding who "makes it” in society.
