@ktemkin Just getting started with Nix (for both macOS and Linux) and looking at online guides... some of these assume you'll run the official installer, others assume you'll do the determinatesystems installer (which apparently depends on "experimental" and "extra-experiemental" features... but Don't Panic... everyone is taking part in the experiments). So I guess what I find bothersome is the disconnect between official Nix and what 99% of the community seems to be doing with Nix.
