Lokot-lokot for #MakanApaToday

Eid Mubarak!

This is a delicacy common in Mindanao and the #Sulu Archipelago in the #Philippines . It is also referred to as jaa in Sulu. Usually served on special occasions like Eid al-Fitr. Extremely crunchy. Chanced upon this at Palenque yesterday!

@agasramirez Ooh, I love these! When I was in high school my cousin who was a nurse brought this back for us from her trip south.

Magazine

Collecting links and snapshots of lives across Southeast Asia and maybe a little further. Owned by a Malaysian who is inviting others to contribute to a hopefully representative view of the Southeast Asian fediverse.

this magazine aims to be inclusive while understanding Karl Popper's Paradox of Tolerance;
