1 = 2/3 + 1/3

1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + 1/64 + … = 1

1/2 + 1/8 + 1/32 + … = 2/3
1/4 + 1/16 + 1/64 + … = 1/3

Is there a very elementary justification for these?
