What other options do they have? This is like complaining abut people striking, when it’s the only way for them to get a decent salary.

Sometimes we need to make things difficult to get listened to in life.

Start small to practice civil disobedience so you have the backbone to do it when it matters also.

Most people are very weak. They never go against the crowd even once.

It’s almost impossible to find someone these days. Social media made people a lot more picky and everyone is trying to find the perfect person that doesn’t exist. Apps like tinder ruined it even more.

It’s frankly ridiculous. Ai is useful but the only company that deserves to get this much gains on the stock market is possibly Nvidia, because they make actual sales of actual hardware.

Everyone else puts out AI that is much worse than open gpt with tons of marketing to try and make up for it.

There is aws summit now in a couple of days where I live and there was more AI breakout sessions than you can shake a stick at. It’s definently overhyped.

I actually say no to hiring more devs because it takes like a year to get someone up to speed, with lots of effort and time invested from the team.

I’m not a manager, I’m one of the devs. Don’t want more people because of the burden of training them.

Just 30 mins to an hour. It’s really nice to be able to drop it so easily. It has very little addiction feeling, and it’s easy enough to just open the app and go through what’s new and then close it.

Of course, that’s how it works. But just because you make an economically sound decision doesn’t mean you don’t get tracked and data mined by these scumbag companies. :)

Yep that’s how it is. Also the worst food is cheap, and marketing of bad things like alcohol and cigarettes are targeting people without much education or self esteem.

Society is upside down and harmful to humans by default, unless we have money, since money is the only thing that gives us options. Controlling the money flow is therefore God Mode, and if you don’t have money, you are playing on Very Hard mode by default.
