I run mint on my “home entertainment center”. Just an old laptop with a wireless mouse and keyboard.

Granted I don’t use it for much, but once I had mint on it, I’ve only used the desktop environment. Mostly because I’m leaning back in a slothful, shameful lump, and this is not conducive to typing. So I spend way too long pecking at things with the mouse.

Pain in the ass? Yes.

Way more tedious and time consuming? Yes

Possible? Also yes

I just got a credit card to build credit. I’ve never had a loan or card prior to this. The whole thing is so gross.

I hate to get biblical but I’m reminded of the story Jesus fucking up those finance bros with a rake. Shit stays the same apparently. 2k years on and it’s the same shit. I’m not religious AT ALL but if Jesus did come back and immediately started beating wall Street bros about the head and face with landscaping tools…

I wanna take a minute to plug criterion channel. Objectively the value is worse than Netflix. But they have an amazing collection of films nonetheless. I put their 24/7 channel on and just watch whatever is on. Never in a million years thought I would be into classic French cinema.

On a side rant fuck the French and their films! They drop you right into a situation with no clear good or bad guys. The films have meandering plots that go nowhere because why would they!?!? At the end there’s no resolution, just an empty chasam in your soul you’ve somehow overlooked your entire existence. And the worst part is they just put “fin” up on the screen and that’s that. Fuckin foreign nonsense

There’s all sorts of treasures, may be worth a peek.

I want the term “parking desert” to take hold in place of parking lot. I hate most aspects of automobiles. The amount land we pave over for storage is just tragic and rude.

We should build solar farms over our parking deserts to reduce human footprint.

I know! I’m past the point in my life where I wanna rave, but I feel sorry for kids these days. Who knows what’s stuff actually is anymore what with bath salts and fentanyl. Sucks for the chillen. I had some really good times in barn raves out on the prarie
