Window management on macOS isn’t great and I’ve tried a lot of tiling tools but none are as good as i3. I discovered AeroSpace today from @bobko and using it for a bit, it’s really solid! https://github.com/nikitabobko/AeroSpace — great work!
@film_girl@bobko Hello everyone, I am Ahmed from Gaza. I am 30 years old. My dreams and my home have been destroyed. I hope you can help me and my family. Share and support my link and donate 💔🙏 https://gofund.me/8f06f4d5
@film_girl@bobko Have you tried Moom? That’s always my first install on a new Mac. (I’ll take a look at AeroSpace though. Always interested to find new utilities in this, er, space.)
This is true for sure — but sometimes you can be prevented by the new owner of what you can disclose. That was my only point last night. We were owed disclosure, but I put that onus primarily on the new owner. It looks now like there is an official statement — better late than never, but like many of you, it has left a bad taste in my mouth for sure. Ice looks promising (hidden bar hasn’t had an update in years so that makes me less comfortable). https://mastodon.social/@lapcatsoftware/112565037324342140
@lapcatsoftware I think it can be so much more complicated than that. In this case, you’re probably right, but not everyone has the luxury of walking away from a deal because they don’t like some of the terms and so I try to offer grace for that. We were owed being told the app was sold. And most of us will prob rightfully side eye any future apps from this dev (assuming he releases any).
