elden ring seems to do open world in the way i love best—go fuck around and figure out the world yourself!

a breath of fresh air compared to SO many hellish maps littered with “go here!” icons and “follow me!” light trails. :mikusmile:

@misha I think Elden Ring is the best open world game ever made. It actually incentives exploring and it feels great when you find cool stuff on your own.

@misha Definitely give it a try! I usually get frustrated by Souls games but Elden Ring just felt different. The BS optional boss that everyone complained about took me 80 tries to beat but I don't think a game has ever made me celebrate like that.

The tire of my dad's truck fell off while he was going 70mph on the highway and ripped the axle/brake line out, but luckily there was no traffic so he was able to pull aside and slow down...

I'm so happy that he is uninjured and everyone is safe, but God that was a scary phone call.
