It's really weird, the Bsky > Mastodon bridge posts only show up in BlueSky in the app. That might be why I never noticed it working, I'm usually on my laptop.
Who would have thought that over a decade of staying out late frequenting nightclubs and shows and still being functional at work the next day would have been prep for a career in IT?
I think I'm starting to get a format for the PC notes in #Obsidian. If anybody has any formatting suggestions (plug-ins, whatever) I'd be happy to hear them. I tried the multi-column plugin and it just was not working for me, so I ditched it.
At our offsite our new cybersec engineer passed out YubiKeys for those who wanted to participate in a beta testing them out. It doesn't work with a few internal things our team uses but works great for logging into my machine, Zscaler, and Okta.
When I got home I realized my laptop is in a dock. Luckily it worked to move the key to a port on my headphone stand where I can easily reach it. I suppose that's kind of an opsec fail revealing that, so none of y'all better try to steal my work laptop.
After spending some time with my Anker Sound Core Space One headphones, I realized they were pausing for notifications on my phone and not announcements. The notifications just happened to be from the airline, at the same time the gate counter was making announcements 🤣
There's something comforting about knowing that during a flight you won't have an Internet connection. For that period of a few hours you have to entertain yourself the way you would have before web browsing and smartphones.
Who am I kidding? Having wifi on a plane fucking rocks.
