I’ve been running 38mm Panaracer GravelKing tires tubeless on my Soma Stanyan for years, but the front tire I just put on has enough wobble to rub in one spot on every rotation. (The wheel itself is true.)
Two shops told me that the tire wasn’t seated right, but I checked and remounted multiple times and it’s seating fine. Even used some rubbing alcohol to lubricate the tire where it seated, but it always mounts up perfectly fine. The tire is the problem.
The second shop gave the real answer after chatting with the folks there for a bit: I should go down a size. It’s a real bummer, but even the Soma website says it can do up to 35mm. :blobfoxsad:
The only other realistic alternative is a new frameset, or at least a new fork, but that will have to wait for a while. :blobfoxgooglycry:
Only problem is that I now have to find a completely different tire since both the GravelKing and Rene Herse tires don't go any smaller than 650B×38mm. :blobfoxcry2:
Torque is the force that ends up being used for movement (acceleration, etc.), while horsepower is indicative of how fast the vehicle can run. When something has a lot of torque but not much horsepower, it can pull hard but can't go very fast. :blobfox3c:
keyboard ghosting and rollover issues are such fun. "your default keys don't work on my keyboard! you should change the default!"
unfortunately there is no safe default, which is why the default in kitsune tails is the most popular default in the most popular PC platformers, and that's why there's a controls picker the first time you start the game
did you know there are plenty of keyboards where even ASD is too much? or two arrow keys plus any other key?
just nothing for it really but to let people customize their keys in the options
