I'd been raised to avoid things that weren't fine with my parents, but lately, I'd been trying to see the other sides through their writing (blog, novel, review, discussion, etc) and I regretted not doing it sooner. A lot of the things there would've helped me to become what I want to be.
I think most of us who moved here from Reddit are enjoying our time here on kbin.social. We've left a lot of the riff-raff behind us and made new friends with intelligent, thoughtful members of kbin, Lemmy, Mastodon, etc.....

Light as a Feather by Ethion - Federico was an Executor above all else, yet a chance meeting brought a possibility that he never even thought of. The only Executor/Nightingale fic in existence, as far as I'm aware. I don't think this ship even exists in CN.
Spliced Wires by VulgarCalluna - A series of fics featuring the Author OCs in the world of Terra. I recommend reading the first one, it's fascinating.

Seriously, this is the reason why I believe in Kal's ex-wife meme more than anything. Also, I have a feeling that a significant amount of the fandom had seen it.

@MJYW The first one is Sami SS, yeah? I heard it was about Magallan. Since they mentioned trees, this probably will introduce the 'Elves' that Mumu mentioned in Lone Trail. She refers to them as 'Leaves' and herself as 'Droplet'.
Speaking about trees, I just realized that there have been little mention of them in the story so far. I mean, Trees are stationary and with Catastrophe around and Originium in the soil... there must be some that changed into something wonderful, as trees tend to be.

Saga of a Sunscorched Land by FeyMoodWorker - Arknights Worldbuilding is pretty amazing. However, waiting for HG to give out every nitty-gritty would take all your lifetime and more. That's why, this fic tried to expand upon one section of that, the Lands of Sargon. The region seemed to be a mish-mash of a great many cultures. The story would follow the POVs of those who very often be sidelined in favor of the advancement of the main story plot. For example: What would a farmer who lives in a settlement outside a mobile city would do in the face of a Catastrophe? How is the life of R.I. operators who were stationed in one of R.I.'s suspiciously many safehouses?
AWAKENiNG. by fromTheDeskOfLANGLEY - I don't understand. I never read something like this before. Is it kind of like an ERP? You can communicate with the POV character in the story through the comments.
The Rhodes Island Experiences by Nhim - The comic series that introduced me to Arknights and made me interested enough to try it. It's so good that Gamepress put it on their website. Though, I don't know if it's Gamepress who commissioned it or the artist who created it first and then get acknowledged. I hope it's the latter because that's just cool. 彳文xow - A Bilibili* channel which made a lot of Arknights fan-animations. You probably have seen at least one of them if you look for AK content on Youtube. @Xperr7 On A6. Got super lucky run, 18+ lives and Texalt with executor aspd and extended stun relic. Reach fifth floor, everything is easy, find Emergency Out of Control as one of the branches.
Thinking 'I need to actually try fight it,' pick it. Mountain cleaning mobs from bottom lane while Silverash guard the right-up lane, with Skalter S2M3 healing them both (I have 40%+ healing and 1% HP regen). Sending Texalt to kill the left uppermost first, and succeeded.
That's my first mistake. I should've waited and use Texas for the middle or top lane.
The bonethrowers killed Mountain in three hits. Then the upper one killed Skalter in two hits. Lives began to drop drastically as no one were able to hold the bottom lane. Just before the top bonethrower reach the area to hit SA, Texalt redeploy finally finished. However, I was a second too late as the bonethrower killed SA in one hit.
In panic, I used a dice.
My second mistake. Now the top bonethrower was taking their sweet time entering the blue box, effectively banning the whole right area.
I tried to build a lane on the left, to no avail as there were bonethrowers in there too.
With no one holding the lane, the mobs just ran into the blue box and in no time my lives vanished.
Definitely a bit late, but finally beat IS3 Ending 1 on normal difficulty! IS2 helped me become a much better player, so I'm happy to see it expanded on.
@Xperr7 By the way, should there be a Megathread for things like IS, Ongoing Event, or Help Thread in this magazine? Can it be done? This microblog space can be treated the same as Lounge, I think.
Of Light and Law by DrZ3Lter - Slow burn Mlynar/Penance fic. Like all good slow burn, matters of romance are never the focus, but the characters themselves. I'm not being confusing, am I?
The Rhodes Island Archive by Oteruea - If you have been playing AK for a long time, and checked out AK Section on AO3 during that time, you may have seen and even read it. Treat it as a collection of short stories, with some (maybe) being interconnected. The author likes to play their headcanon straight, and more often than not, it resulted in fun situations. For example, Aak and Pramanix.
Broken Fate (Pt1) - Looking for Frostnova content? This just came out today. It's still only the beginning, but it's heavy. I expect great things from this. By the way, check out the artist's other works, too. They're funny.

The artist put it as Pallas x Sarkaz Bodyguard, but it's more of a trust rather than a romantic thing. Well, except if you consider Pallas' ideal as romantic. I do.
