It's still fun to think that in the winter, i go to school in darkness, and come home in darkness. Here in Norway, we only see the sun on weekends since that's when we're home

i've not seen any options for that on kbin, so i use imgur. they allow multi image uploads

I use 2 ad blocks running on my main pc, and one for my phone. Traffic goes trough a pihole, and for my phone, i've set up a vpn which i'm always connected to.
Why?
Because it's literally impossible to browse the internet these days without proper ad blocking.

Personally I've never had any problems with my isp. Here in Norway, I pay about $50 pr month for 10Gbps up and down. Isp doesn't care if I selfhost websites or other things with my connection. Just hassle free

Kinda sad to see how people pay wayyy more for way less. I imagine this issue worsens in countries with more corrupt governments or countries that allow for bigger monopolies of infrastructure people rely on.

It could have happened because you took the picture from an angle which made your phone think it had to flip the image, though it might also be a bug with the image viewer for beehaw and kbin. I myself haven't experienced this bug.

My own domain?

Currently I’m with lemmy.world, but if i wanted to create my own, to run at my house, would I need to register a domain? I like the idea of having my own domain but also don’t know how the storage works… like if I post to my own, sure it gets stored, but if I post to somewhere on lemmy.world, where does it get stored?

If you have problems finding ddns servers, you can use duckdns or if you have an Asus router, you can register for their ddns solution.
