As reported by Reuters, the lawsuit was filed by Dan Ackerman against Apple, screenwriter Noah Pink, Marv Studios, the Tetris Company, and others. The lawsuit alleges that “Tetris” is “substantially similar in almost all material respects” to his book published in 2016 entitled “The Tetris Effect.”...
I want to try out the Pikmin 4 demo and finally launch Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I bought it ages ago, but haven't even tried it yet. I have a disgusting backlog. But this weekend, I want to give my Switch some love.
Do you use an online campaign manager? If so, which? I only know of Kanka so far, and am pretty happy with it. Edit to add: Obviously there are self-hosted wikis and other sites you could use, but this is the only purpose-built one I’ve used.
I use Kanka myself. I really enjoy it and love that it does what I need for free. I used to support it with a subscription when I had an active campaign going, but now that it's been dormant, I stopped. That said, I like that it's not necessary to do so to get a great tool for campaign building/management.
Other than that and WorldAnvil, the other big tool I've heard people use is a OneNote file. Not entirely sure how that works, but it's an interesting (and offline) way to do it.
I love KFC, when me and my family are poor(and still are) i would go and eat KFC like almost every single week and it was cheap here + Delicious aswell. I loved KFC Fries the Most, it was so delicious. If i had enough money, i would buy enough of KFC and be a fat man in the week LMAO...

YouTube is currently running what it describes as a "small experiment globally," warning users to toggle off their ad blockers and avoid being limited to only three video views.
Honestly, as much as it pains me to say, I would pay for something below Premium. Like YouTube Plus or whatever. So I could get reduced ads, but not the crazy 3 minutes of ads they'll probably go to. I think Premium is $12 USD a month right now, I would want something at $6 (preferably $5). I don't think it's worth it for me to pay $12 for the amount I watch YouTube, but some of the info on YouTube is worth paying a little something for them to host it. I'm definitely going to start downloading some videos now though in case YouTube gets worse and worse...
Just starting to familiarize myself with everything after about a decade at reddit. I understand that you can view content across instances but I'm noticing that both kbin and lemmy have similar (competing?) magazines/communities....
I think a possible way forward for this that won't necessarily affect federation directly is to allow a user to combine different subscriptions into a custom "list" or custom "magazine"/"community". Then on the user end, it looks like 1 combined feed, but in the back end, it's still just a bunch of federated communities.
This is where I stand as well. Discussions that directly involve the OP doesn't make sense, but something like a news article or information that the new poster can maybe add their own view on to stimulate a new discussion makes much more sense.
Starfield is set to release on September 6th and there's obviously a lot of excitement around it but will it work on Valve's Steam Deck? That's not currently clear.
Is there a way to save or favorite a post, comment, etc. for later on kbin? I don't see it under the "more" menu, but if I go to more>activity, I can see people that have favorited a post. And if you fave something, does that allow me to find it later? Because that's what I want to use it for.

Game looks really cool and I hope the theme of this one allows them to just go above and beyond with the level design. Also, Mario has technically always been doing some type of drugs. He's been ingesting mushrooms, flowers, leaves, feathers, etc. all these years.
Thanks for the info. I remember playing arcade games including Street Fighter on my computer before gamepads were really standard, so I think I could adapt to the WASD layout for my left hand. Maybe some day 🤔
I was somewhat excited with the direction of the game when it was announced, but then saw it wasn't coming to PC at launch (but probablyl later I assume like other FF games). So it kind of killed the hype a bit, but I'd still check it out once it hits PC.
Perhaps I've misunderstood how Lemmy works, but from what I can tell Lemmy is resulting in fragmentation between communities. If I've got this wrong, or browsing Lemmy wrong, please correct me!...
I agree wholeheartedly with this. Recently, I was subbed to overlapping sources on kbin and Lemmy and I realized I had to cut the fat. I see similar posts covering the same event in multiple places, but I'm not going to seriously engage in all of them.
Basically, I don't need to find the biggest one that has everything on it or create one mega aggregate, I just need to find the right place for me. Some people seem to want to be plugged into this 1 big nexus of every permutation of a topic, but I don't see a reason for it.
If you extend that thinking out to the internet as a whole, you'd need to be part of these forums and this subreddit and this Facebook group and these discords or you're gonna miss out on something. But most of it is just noise at a certain point.
I'm a brand new Street Fighter player. I've very casually played Mortal Kombat since I was a kid, but I never took any fighting game seriously. I'm having a great time playing ranked SF6, and I can already see improvement. All of these characters are new to me other than Ryu and Ken being in Smash and hearing some of the other...
Ryu and I'm still deciding on my charge character. I'm thinking maybe Guile. I skipped SFV, but in SFIV, I mained Ryu and Balrog, who was the first charge character I ever picked up.
This is great news honestly. I backed this game on Kickstarter a long time ago and some friends of mine were smitten with this game when I streamed the Backer demo a few years ago.
I think having this on Game Pass allows more people to experience it than would have otherwise. And obviously I hope it gives the developer some great financial support from Microsoft/Xbox.
This was very helpful. Thanks! One quick question, is there a save option like reddit has? On an article or under a comment or something, I see reply, boost, and more. Clicking more, there's just report, activity, copy url, and copy url to fediverse.
Does anyone know if I can save something for later? If not, no biggie. Thank you again @Ategon for this guide!
After playing Celeste, I got to reading about fantasy consoles. Basically, they are emulators for systems which don't exist. New games can be written with simulated limitations, allowing for the kind of creativity of older consoles. I am wondering if anyone has used them, and if they have a favorite one?
I've used and created a very primitive (and inappropriate) game for PICO-8. So far that's the only one I've really tried so it's my favorite by default. There are some really cool and creative games on there including Celeste 2.
