@mekkaokereke and that's before even considering the extent of voter disenfranchisement and the total insanity that is the EC you have in the USA.
(Although with the EC I'm not sure how the respective ratios change. I'm completely uninformed on the subject but I get the impression that the racial distribution of the population is not uniform across the USA, so I wouldn't even be surprised that a white farmer vote from some state has more weight than that of a Black urban dweller in another.)
