I made an infographic to put on the Author Submission page on my store website.

That way authors will already know all this stuff when I reach out to them.

I started cycling my aquarium tank yesterday. Threw some betta fish food in the tank and added some "Quick Start" liquid.

The test strips say my tank is safe to add fish, but I need to use the big Freshwater Master Kit to check.

Every morning I say good morning to my cats as I turn on all the lights, and soon I'll be saying good morning to a betta fish too! 😁

@ratcatcher Bettas are feisty loners like me lol. They don’t like living with other fish. Seemed like an appropriate fish for me. Haha

My fish tank isn't ready. The test strips were wrong. It's very unsafe water and a fish would not last long. 😭

Ordered some treatment stuff to get the water perfect. More waiting time.

@pathfinder I'm using it on the new neurodiversity pride t-shirts as the printed tag-less tag. I'm glad I now have a logo that is more inclusive, which is the goal.

Totally wasn’t expecting the new manufactured chew necklace samples to show up today, but yay!

This one has a lot more resistance than the first samples they made. Good for hard chewers like I wanted. :)

@Cassandra they come fully assembled with the string and individually packaged to keep them clean. The string is adjustable too. :)

I took a 20 minute journey in my power chair out to a gas station to get a couple of Red Bulls. My brain got too revved up and I need the sedation. But then I got there and they had chains on the door and were closed!

Went 20 minutes each way for nothing lol. Oh well, got outside I guess.

Much better logo update! Text is balanced out and both Autistic and Neurodivergent fit. There’s not enough space for the word “and” so it will have to do.

@Codeschubse even with removing those dots, to add an “and” or “&” the text would have to be made smaller and then it would be unreadable.

Above the logo on my store, there’s an announcement bar that says “Helping Autistic and Neurodivergent Adults stim around the world since 2021”. Hopefully that helps imply the “and”.

Added 3 little moss balls and 3 rocks with juniper moss to the fish tank for my future betta fish.

Once the new heater gets here I’ll start the cycle process.

@pathfinder I had to order a new heater because the one I got with the tank kit sucks. It won't keep the temperature stable, even though its set to 80. Got a new one that's temp controlled to keep the tank at a perfect 80 degrees 24/7.

After I get that, it will be time to start the cycle process.

I spent about 4 hours today sending emails.

Went back and emailed everyone who submitted their work to Autistic Bookshop to ask if they'd like to transfer over to The Autistic Innovator.

Plus sent emails to new people who have put in submissions.

I'm worn out.

I think I'll still need an additional ADHD med, or higher dosage of Strattera, because it wears off at 1pm.

My logo designer who made my store logo 3 years ago is updating the logo for me.

The most exclusionary part of my store is the logo. It’s the reason why many ADHD people have asked me if they can shop there. Neurodiverse pride products alone aren’t enough to make my store fully inclusive, so the logo is getting an update.

Changing “an online store for autistic adults” to “a store for neurodivergent adults”, and removing the “Shop” part too.

I’m doing all this from a place of love.

@Kencf618033 @ratcatcher there is extra room on the top since I removed “an online store for” and shortened it to “a store for” can do maybe “a store for autistic” or “a store for autistic and” if it will fit. It will balance out the size of the text anyway.

I think I charge my phone more often than I used to. I used to let it get all the way to single digits before recharging. Lately, I've been recharging when it's still over 75%.
