So, here's a fun fact: have you ever wondered how exactly U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt convinced Americans that Hitler was bad, considering he ran a country that was itself deeply racist and heavily antisemitic, had a sizeable fascist movement, and used much similar economic policies as Germany in the late stages of the Great Depression?

He framed it as supporting religious freedom, which the Nazis were encroaching on.

I didn't know that, until I read this bio.

Huh. So apparently some vegan cookies essentially replace the binding properties of eggs with eg "bananas, and more baking powder” (or is it soda. I can never remember. good thing I wasn't the baker) and it turns out really tasty!

May have to reevaluate my prior experience of “vegan desserts all taste like cardboard somebody kept in their laundry hamper” 🤔

You can also use garbanzo bean water, which has the same behaviour as egg white but is made from bean. No reason why vegan food needs to taste bland.
