some projects/ideas i found in the last couple of years, that try to solve our current problem of the internet being a centralized structure that is controllable by big corporations or governments and not so easily usable with mesh technology or when not being connected for long amounts of time...

I need to track cardio with terrain data, but I’d rather not trust Strava with my privacy. I know there are some alternatives, but which one is the most reliable and feature-rich? I don’t have smart accessories, just and android phone. Preferably, I’d like an app that let’s me track added weights for calorie purposes...

Is there any OCR service or app for scanning pages, getting text with all the maths. I am a school student and this is very handy for looking for solutions. Previously I was using google lens but not anymore obviously. So anything FOSS or just less Privacy invasive.

I find the official app bad and hard to use etc. is there any alternative I can use that can provide me the same info with the official app? Preferably an Android app
