#TIL that @JasonPunyon curated and compiled a whopping archive of answers from #StackOverflow and assorted #StackExchange Q&A sites in a minimal sqlite format, where they can be downloaded and analyzed offline:

Amazing effort and great idea. Reminded me of the archives that #Kiwix kept of it (alongside Wikipedia and similar projects), but more streamlined and cross-platform. Nice.

Dang, today I learned that NFC in Linux is pretty much dying

Seems to be the result of a cycle between no users and no applications. With Linux mobile being as stable as it is on some platforms, maybe Linux mobile applications utilizing NFC can kickstart NFC out of the cycle?

Does #Waydroid support NFC? Maybe that can be another avenue as well

I got two phones like that. They both are bootloader unlocked (within Android!) because my current carrier whitelabels them and it seems they are too lazy to change the defaults. Also have another phone that is unlockable via mtkclient

Worst case scenario is that you switched carriers and have another Android phone in the drawer

Kinda went into a rabbit hole into a minimalist #workflow

Leaning towards the following setup (Want to be minimal, have lots of support/tutorials, and ideally FOSS. I want to be up and running asap):

• Alpine
• NvChad + tmux + lsp servers ( + more?)
• surf
• Sway
• aerc
• himitsu

Some questions:

• Tips on setting up Alpine?
• Lightweight OBS, Krita, Libreoffice, Ardour6, etc?
• Other cool software I should look at?

#ArchLinux / #danctnix now ships #Linux #megi 6.4 which has all #PinePhonePro patches for correct camera rotation and location (front/back - used for automatic mirroring in some apps and better camera naming).

This is a great step for having a good camera experience out of the box - the only thing still missing is #wireplumber being installed by default (see https://github.com/dreemurrs-embedded/Pine64-Arch/issues/537)

After that, one can e.g. install #gnomesnaphot or @dino from #Flathub and it should just work.

Setting up my blog, but I have some questions:

Using Hugo:

• Currently host my blog on Gitlab, however it's broken on Codeberg. I symlinked /public/index.html to /, but still no good. How do I fix this?

Raw HTML:

• If the header, nav, and footer are going to be the same throughout the html pages, how do I reduce code duplication (ideally without using Hugo/Jekyll)?
• Found this cool answer https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1088198/what-is-the-best-way-to-manage-duplicate-code-in-static-html-websites but does Codeberg use PHP?
• Can I use Markdown to simplify my html generation?
