LT Could anyone with the Apple rechargeable keyboard and mouse tell me if there are notifications when the charge is low? Trying to help an older user who upgraded from the old AA-battery gear when they got their new iMac. (They also upgraded from about 5 or 6 versions-old macOS so Sonoma is kind of a lot.)

Anyone using a high-interest savings bank that they like? Tempted by CIT bank's offer. Biggest hassle for me is worrying about moving money in and out of my regular accounts to pay bills, etc.

    If you want an iPad battery replaced and Apple Support offers Best Buy as an authorized service provider, don’t bother. You won’t find out until you get to your appt. that they don’t replace iPad batteries and only offer device replacement. So instead of $99 to replace the battery in my 8th gen, they wanted me to pay $249 for a new 9th gen.

    I’ve done a few iPhone batteries with Beat Buy, so I didn’t expect this at all.

    And trying to contact Apple about it doesn’t get me anywhere. I made an appointment in Tacoma, but it’s an hour+ round trip. If I get there and they don’t have a battery in stock, I will be very grumpy. But I’ll also powerless to do anything about it.

    After watching Rebel Moon, my respect for George Lucas as a writer and world builder doubled. Maybe tripled.

    I'm pretty sure that it's illegal to take that much acting talent and VFX budget, and produce waves hands in exasperation that with it. A crime against my eyeballs. Don't get me wrong, the visuals were pretty, and you could see the actors doing their best to try to make something happen... But no.

    Now I need to go rewatch Rogue One and Andor, just to rinse that mess from my mind.

    The site I'm using to look for college matches for kiddo asks which states is he interested in. Well, there's a decent short list of states he's not interested in. But they don't have an option for that. Seems like a weak point in their software.

    @jsq I couldn't hang with it and changed my resolution so the screen sits below the notch. You need to displays the resolution as a list to find it.

    Listening to podcasters drool over the new black MacBook Pro. Am I the only person left who prefers silver Macs?

    I just got my first refresh MBP at work a couple of weeks ago (3 years in December!). My old was one was space black and aI asked IT if I could get my new one in silver. But they only order space black ones, which bummed me out a little.
