Reuters review of TX property records shows SpaceX & its contractors can be far slower to pay builders, suppliers than they are to break ground. Unpaid bills, finger-pting among contractors have led many construction-industry businesses to file liens against SpaceX properties in efforts to get compensated.

Thankfully I headed the migraine off and just have a mild headache. I finished my work to a good stopping point then went downstairs and made a hash for dinner. Just look at that yolk!

Poor husband. He took a shower and got dressed hoping he would feel better and be able to do “something”. He went and got the mail. Now he’s feeling very tired again. I just need him to stay isolated and keep me healthy.

I could use stories of people who successfully didn’t get COVID when a spouse did. My husband had to travel cross country to help his mother in assisted living with various things. He came home sick (both masked and separated as much as possible on drive home from airport) he tested positive (first in this house) and isolated. We’re being good about masking and I’m washing my hands a lot after delivering food or tea but what other advice is there? I definitely do not want to catch it.

@glennf poor guy is super bored to be isolated in guest room (there is a TV and he’s been watching old movies but still bored) but he gets that I don’t want him near me even though I’ll cook him meals and make tea.

@augieray @cwgrody he is in the guest room downstairs with an air purifier. Not allowed to roam freely. I’m generally upstairs with my own air purifier except when cooking food. Too cold to open windows unfortunately. Definitely masking. Fingers crossed it’s enough.

Dear I completely understand weather issues. But two different delayed deliveries were reported as “out for delivery” today starting from a location about 16 miles away. Twelve hours later they are nowhere to be seen.

I was cleaning out my office and discovered a tiara. I don't even remember where (or why) I got it, but I've decided that it is perfectly fine to wear a tiara even if you are not a real princess.

The best part, which you may not know is that you can even wear a tiara over a tuque. This is really good for tiara hiking - although you have to keep an eye out for low hanging branches in the forest. Apparently trees like tiaras too.

@nomdeb @AnnieBuddy I have a collection plus a bunch of guest tiaras I can give away if someone likes. I wore one to a Teams meeting once and was asked why I had a tiara. I responded “the better question is, why don’t you?”

Vacation day one: rowed 10k watching football for the concept2 charity challenge, hung curtains in the guest room to replace the fake ones I put up 2.5 years ago to control light since we put husband’s office there, did my daily French lessons. Good day.

Removing the cap on the amount that high income recipients pay on their SS taxes would go a long way to fix the SS deficit.

Why can’t high income recipients pay SS taxes at the same rate as a percentage of their income as lower wage people? They can, but the GOP doesn’t care about average people. They won’t impose any tax on the rich.
