The painting seems to be inspired by Richard Wagner's opera cycle "The Ring of the Nibelung".
In its last part "The Twilight of the Gods", the hero Siegfried frees Brünhilde, the Valkyrie, from the ring of fire where, Wotan, the Gods' boss, had confined her, his favourite daughter for disobeying
They fall in love immediately, but after a while Siegfried departs, in order to seek new adventures and heroic deeds, leaving his demi-goddess bride as vigil for the treasures he had previously taken from Fafner, the giant turned dragon, but - alas - events would not turn out as the loving couple expected.
If you own part of a corporation, say through stocks and shares, CEOs and board act on your behalf and commit crimes (e.g. corruption, tax fraud, environmental damages etc.) you should be liable for those, at least until the sum of the worth of your shares, past paid dividends and profits by share price increases.
If you feel, you have been lied by the board and are innocent, you have the right to sue them for compensation.
@karlimann@mina War auch mein Gedanke, der gelbe Teil passt nicht wirklich. Allerheiligen in NRW gibt’s auch noch. Unterm Strich sind es in Bayern 2 Feiertage mehr, als in Bayern. Ich verstehe, dass es ein Witz sein soll, der mMn halt nur eine überschaubare Grundlage hat.
Fakt bleibt, dass die blauen Länder jeweils nur einen nicht-bundeseinheitlichen Feiertag haben (SH+NS: Reformationstag, BE: Feministischer Kampftag), alle anderen Länder 2 oder mehr, teilweise regional.
Fronleichnam fällt auch nie aufs Wochenende, sondern immer auf den Donnerstag, was auch noch einen schönen Brückentag möglich macht.
Was haltet ihr von der Idee, allen Personen mit minderjährigen Kindern und generell allen unter 30 bei #Wahlen eine zusätzliche #Zukunftsstimme zu geben?
Ich habe 5 Jahre auf dem Dorf gewohnt, aber Postauto und Volg gab es dort wie auch in allen Nachbardörfern.
Es mag noch abgelegenere Gegenden geben, aber wenn du da lebst, bist du irgendwann zwangsläufig im Arsch, wenn Augenlicht, Reflexe oder Muskeln langsam nicht mehr zuverlässig sind.
Zudem kostet Kauf und Unterhalt eines Autos auch richtig Geld. Wenn du das nicht hast, bist du ohne ÖV doppelt gefickt.
@mina Claro quizás lo que quizá decir es que ahora para Milei y los libertarios pareciera que la patria es una entelequia, pero son cosas concretas para mí. No dejemos que triunfe ese relato.
@mina Pero eso se parece a cuando una vez lei una "demostración" matemática que aseguraba que "2 = 1".
Resulta que en algún punto del razonamiento habían introducido un cálculo erróneo o sin sentido difícil de descubrir que daba como resultado final que 2 era lo mismo que 1 pese a no serlo.
@mina Da eine Bekannte auf Sylt lebt und dort viel in der Flüchtlingshilfe arbeitet, fände ich das nicht so toll.
Aber Elon Musk baut doch sowieso schon an Raketen für den Mars, die regelmäßig beim Start explodieren … 😬
