I'm watching #VinlandSaga (the first season for now; I have read some parts of the #manga before, but I can't say I remember everything), and Canute is definitely my favorite. I adore stories about characters who are either forced to become kings (see #JuuniKokki, for example) or pursue royal power willingly. Monarchy in real life is not exactly something I support, but in fiction? Yeah, it's great.
@karamergen ah nice. VS has its ups and downs to me but the episode when he has his revelation (I think it's 16 or 17?) is a truly god tier episode of anime
