It’s on all zoom levels. Now tried a different browser and on that the style is visible.

Some poeple on Hacker News have the same problem. They found out the grey map is related to some privacy features when a tracking referal is not send to the Tile Server. Must be manually fixed e.g. in uMatrix

All other OSM styles do not have this problem.

Poi c’è lui nei commenti, che non capisce che i dati di osm non sono solo usati da russi ma da tutti sia per mappe ma per cose molto più importanti come studi di dati e ricerca.
