@metin They're going to have to get accustomed to air conditioning, unfortunately. And they're not going to have long to get it widely installed before things turn deadly.
@wagesj45@metin There's an air conditioning available for 1 billion years, that is a solution to the problem, and not a part of it: trees. They only need some place to grow and live. Friedensreich Hundertwasser had the great idea to give them some space in apartment and office buildings in urban areas. We have a birch growing in front of our windows and we can feel its cooling effect as well. But I guess there is no business in that approach, so none of the people in charge care.
@ooRay_creation@wagesj45 I'm afraid that selfishness, ignorance and incompetence to change behavioral patterns will cause humanity to postpone radical action until disaster and war will solve the crisis we're causing, decimating humanity, flora and fauna. It's a dire prediction, but at the moment I can't see a different outcome. Apparently, the shit needs to hit the fan before humans wake up too late.
