@GottaLaff Any halfway sentient judge should see this as a naked attempt to hide the unfavorable press he receives fighting the mouse. DeSantis is such a sh##!
@GottaLaff , not with Bob Igor returning as CEO. Chapek was a disaster, trying to move Disney tech headquarters to Florida, among other moves. My husband works for Disney in Seattle. Under Chapek, they made a bunch of people move to Orlando during the height of the pandemic, with no office space for them! Fortunately, hubby's position stayed in Seattle.
@GottaLaff , one of my mom's singer friends performs for shows at Disney World, too. He seems to have fun at it. I hope Mr. Laffy enjoyed it. We've had unlimited passes to Disney Parks and I must admit that I find the places to be a bit over stimulating.
@Dr_Elizabeth97 He liked it okay. We live in L.A. so Disneyland was always available to us. I grew tired of it once my kids got a little older. I used to love it so much, but for some reason, that just ended.
@GottaLaff , I loved Disneyland the first time I visited as a college student. Then, poof! The magic vanished on subsequent Disney visits. I never liked Disney World. It had none of the old Disney craftsperson charm.
@Dr_Elizabeth97 Right? I was into animation, I was an artist who nearly got hired by Disney when I was about 20. Met with a guy named... Donald Duckwall! So I was a real fan for so many years. But yes, poof. It just took me awhile.
@GottaLaff , my husband works with a few folks who work there because they are fans, do the cruises, the parks, etc. My husband works for Parks but in tech. He likes it there for the most part. He's been there for 16 years, which is an eternity in tech.
