Could be just licensing dispute between the right-holders, but since there’s nothing said officially we don’t really know and the situation is worrying.
damn how much weight was there to warrant an additional flight? I guess they also had to take into account placement of each passenger to avoid balance issues
The real question is, when is the surgery to remove basic human empathy going to be banned? Clearly, you've had the procedure done, and I'd offer my condolences for your condition, but unfortunately you're incapable of properly receiving them.
This is a good idea. Honestly the size and length of Japanese escalators blew my mind when I was visiting there. The ones in Shibuya station that go all the way down to the bottom level feel like they're almost a kilometer long. I got some vertigo and triggered my fear of heights just by riding them which is crazy. I can't imagine if someone fell and started a game of dominoes of people falling down that giant escalator. It would be a disaster!
I am surprised he hasn’t gotten in a fight and arrested for that already.
It probably depends on his visa. They sometimes offer to drop charges if the person agrees to leave, but this situation is different because nobody is sympathetic, so who can say. They could perhaps revoke the visa, seems unlikely but maybe, or refuse to renew it and continue with prosection.
Since we have 人質司法 and also the possibility of repeated detention even without evidence (there is no presumption of innocence here and instead one has to prove oneself innocent), I would be very cautious. After the interrogation, the length of which is more or less limited here, but only within one session and that and can be repeated over and over again, it is possible to confess to anything. Especially if the prosecutor here is above the court. This is certainly not to dispute the act or the possible innocence or guilt of the person in question. Only on the state of affairs. Because, we all know the sacred and holy 99% conviction rate here.
