Ha, I only have two of these - the small toothpaste and the padlock.

Ten small and surprisingly useful items you should always pack

@timrichards No sarong?

@LifeTimeCooking Ha no, but @NarrelleMHarris often takes one.

@timrichards I also take along large-ish plastic bags (usually laundry bags liberated from hotels), which are useful for popping dirty clothes into, and/or shoes/sandals/thongs/etc.

@timrichards@aus.social avatar

@jurgen Yes I usually have at least one of those for laundry.

@timrichards you're obviously not getting a swiss army knife in your carry-on. I also wouldn't bother with a rain poncho, especially in a hot climate. I do take lots of zip lock bags of various sizes as well as an eye mask and a torch and gastro-stop tablets

@luciedigitalni Now I think of it, I do have a zip-lock bag for small liquids. They are a good idea.

@timrichards i put everything of value in ziplock bags on my recent trip as there were lots of boats. I also made sure all those ziplock bags came home with me
