You should try it out. The blogs and forums can be found at Vivaldi.net. Vivaldi Automotive can be found in a number of cars, such as the select Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Polestar, Renault, Ford, Lincoln and Lync & Co vehicles, with more being added every month.
For sync to work, it needs storage in the cloud. However, you have a separate encryption password that means that the data is encrypted on our servers with a password that we do not have access to.
@jon@Vivaldi The browser is my main daily driver, although I haven't set up the email client part (yet anyway) since I have a "lifetime" license to eM Client. Bought the license a few years back after Thunderbird started getting buggy. Trying to get my money's worth out of eM before I switch to another email program. 🙂
