The problem with outsourcing your chat or forum to third parties is that you don't own them. That is correct

The problem with self hosting those things yourself is that 1. nobody will use them because why aren't you just using this 3rd party app that everyone is already using and 2. have fun doing your own spam control

Seems like a bit of a damned if you do damned if you don't situation if you ask me

Giovanna Marini è stata fra i 4 o 5 veramente guru o maestrə da cui ho imparato, direttamente o indirettamente, qualcosa nella vita, sulla musica la poesia il teatro l’insegnamento.
Un incontro che ho cercato fortemente ricevendo in cambio accoglienza interesse e affetto inaspettato, poi ho proseguito altrove ma solo oggi ho capito davvero la sua importanza per me.
Qualche anno fa venne invitata (per la prima volta!) in un posto tipo quello in cui insegno ora, per una masterclass 1/2

A proposito della libertà di espressione
Contestare un* politic* che parla è sicuramente un atto contro la sua libertà di espressione ma è contemporaneamente spesso l'unico modo per protestare contro chi rappresenta concretamente la discriminazione esistente nella società tra coloro che detengono anche il potere legato alla diffusione delle proprie idee e coloro che non hanno voce per fare la stessa cosa.

@pepsy la differenza non è solo pratica, è anche teorica. La libertà di espressione è qualcosa che riguarda governo e cittadino (precisamente, è un principio che limita le circostanze in cui il governo può impedire al cittadino di esprimersi), non i privati cittadini tra di loro né meno che mai il cittadino ed il governo a rapporti invertiti.

Consideriamo i "giudici", le persone che appunto giudicano, e i "giudizi", emessi da tali persone.

Cambia solo una lettera, che però rimane consonante, e la pronuncia è decisamente diversa, si sposta proprio l'accento.

Come mai? Qual'è la regola, se c'è, che entra in gioco e modifica la pronuncia?

fyi, if you do hexdump -C file | xxd -r, you will silently NOT get the same thing as file afterwards.

This is incredibly broken in such a dangerous way.

the thing about c++ is you can do

std::numeric_limits<uint32_t>::max()

and be technically correct, portable, more expressive, etc.

or you can just do

UINT32_MAX

which is probably Wrong and Bad in many ways, but has the strong advantage of not sucking ass

@AAMfP you can either use the start parameter in your ol, generated manually on conversion from org mode, or define a CSS counter and use that in the ::mark (IIRC) of your ol
