My boss just showed me his 13-inch Framework laptop. Does anyone know if I get a 16-inch Framework, if I can just put Optima's Braille display part into it and that'd work, or if I'd have to buy the Optima? :boosts-okay:

@pixelate I sincerely doubt that would work. I am going to naively assume the Optima uses a custom case, there'd never be enough space otherwise. I own a 13-inch, and the innards are very cramped even without a braille display. 16 inch is a little biggerbut not that much bigger

@pixelate As Optima is a whole device in a specially built case, unfortunately you won't be able to do strictly that. You have two options here:
A) You can our Braille display separately. This way you'll still have two devices and you won't get some perks reserved for Optima purchasers, or
B) Contact us and we'll talk about it, probably we can take your framework board and all the stuff and put it into the Optima case, so you will pay only for the Braille display and the maintenance work. I don't guarantee the latter case though, it needs to be discussed with our hardware staff. If you decide for the latter eventually, feel free to CC me when you contact us. Thank you for the interest!
