Anchor Brewing ends national distribution, kills beloved beer
The legendary San Francisco beers will only be sold in California, while the famed Christmas Ale is likely gone forever.

acedelgado, Whaaaaat? These guys have been around forever, even in the east coast.
glomag, I know. It's sad to see so many old standards changing or disappearing. I don't even keep super up to date with beer news but we've had the Bell's sale, fat tire recipe change, and now this.
MoonKnightFan, I really love Steam/Cali Common beers, this one in particular. Its going to be missed, and I'm going to have to seek it out whenever i'm in California in the future. But if I'm being honest, where I live, the brand had bad distribution/quality control. Usually if I picked up a 6 pack it was going to be extremely old, and taste like it too. Lets hope local breweries pick up the slack and start making Steams more (California :) Common in their offerings.
