Pet World Exhibition at MidValley

DrowR,

There are snakes with that kind of tongue? Didn't know that.

weecious,

You mean the blue tongued one? That's not a snake, it's a skink.

DrowR,

Ahh! I didn't realize it has legs! My bad my bad.
But wait, blue? It looked red like humans' tongue to me.

weecious,

Weird, it does appear to be red. Maybe i got the ID wrong. But do Google blue-tongue skink, and marvel at it.

DrowR, (edited )

Whoa. Nature is interesting & weird!

rakyat,

Those mini crayfish (I think) look cute! Last time I went, they have centipedes that sell for RM3,500.

weecious,

Oh, I thought those were shrimps 🙈.

Got picture of the RM3,500 centipede?

rakyat,

Those shrimp-like critters are Mexican dwarf crayfish:

rakyat,
Annoyed_Crabby,

Ooo, that's a nice looking centipede!

rakyat,

It better be with such a high price tag 😅

DrowR,

No wonder the high price tag.
What does a centipede eat actually? Carnivorous?

rakyat,

They eat other bugs! Large ones might eat small mice, frogs and stuff.

DrowR,

I think I won't wanna google how the large ones look like..

rakyat,

You made me Google out of curiousity, and I now want to share what I saw with you (don’t have to click):

weecious,

Goddamn mahal

Annoyed_Crabby,

Becareful! It might pinch your finger 👍

sounds like a lot of fun! what's that thing in the last pic?

weecious,

It's a porcupine! Not for sale, it's an exhibition booth by A Famosa Resort promoting their safari.
