It makes me chuckle a little that one of the biggest NFT stores on the Cardano blockchain is just called 'JPG Store'.

So many people are like "NFTs are shit. Do you not realise you're just buying an image?" and the name 'JPG Store' is just screaming "Come and buy some expensive JPGs"

@matt for that price you could easily commission multiple works from artists as well. or get about 10 prints to hang on your wall of their existing work.

@capexato Oh yeah, I don't know who these people are who can buy these - or why some of them seem to retain their value.

(There are a lot that have lost their value dramatically though from the first rounds of sales.)

I guess, like a lot of the modern art world, there is some form of money laundering or tax evasion going on somewhere. 😆

It looks like there's some cardano stuff built into KBin's code. Edited just last week. This is a great idea for instance operators to have another source of revenue. Perhaps they could run a stake pool while also running an instance. Upvote currency brings up all kinds of problems but you can't argue with the benefits for stake pool ops.
