@SirTapTap I mistakenly thought spending more would equal better quality but I'm no longer a La-Z-Boy fan. We purchased a pair of leather recliners about 10 years ago. The first red flag was the store announcing closure between purchase & delivery. Thankfully no problems with delivery. They were comfortable for the first few years but I now find the lower back support to be nonexistent, the cushion constantly slides forward and the reclining mechanism is generally squeaky. @ldamlanatra Huh, everything seems to suck more lately, especially furniture. There's expensive AF stuff, there's absolute CRAP (and it's not THAT cheap) and there's antiques which are hard to find, still expensive, and hard to mesh with decor
I might get another bean bag chair I guess. They're kiiinda recliners and 100% cat safe. Much easier to move around too
@depereo Yeah that's why I don't own any rocking chairs. I'm ont seeing as many of those as I would have expected, surely there's a way to hide/cover the mechanisms
I do have a nice bean bag 'chair' which is very cat safe and 'only' $300, not quite the same though. Not sure if it's good for gaming, I'll have to tryi t more
