It has leaves similar in appearance and odor to those of oregano, thyme, and marjoram. I took a cutting; the stems are woody.
The base is around 12" / 30 cm in diameter. It's still green and I'm in zone 7b/8a and we have had nights down to 22 deg F / -5.5 C so far this winter.
The seed stalks are quite tall - 30" / 75 cm; having separate flower / seed stalks does not seem typical of oregano / thyme plants.
