Have you a favourite probability density function for generative art that you use in your work? Or just use an uniform 0, a), a is a positive real number (integer?) ?

@tca I have a collection and I use different ones for different things. Size is usually some kind of Zipf; jitterings are normal or skewed normal; constrained ranges may be uniform or truncated normal; for spreading things out from a common point, exponential.

Lately I've become fond of beta and binomial beta because with different parameters I can get very different distribution curves.
