1 Set of Colonial Parkway Murders Double Murders SOLVED

It was announced on 1/8/23 that police have solved the 1987 double murder of David Knobling and Robin Edwards which was included in the series of 4 double murders collectively known as the Colonial Parkway Murders that took place between 1986-1989 in southeastern Virginia.

The person police determined to be responsible is a deceased fisherman and hunter named Alan Wade Wilmer Sr. he was also named as the man responsible for the sexual assault and murder of Teresa Howell, a woman from Hampton, VA, which is otherwise unrelated to the Colonial Parkway Murders cases.
