I wonder what ever happened to the #NewportNews Light Rail plan proposed in 2012 by Senior District Planner Carl Jackson?🤔It was planned for 2030 development.
So this apartment complex has been condemned for a year, evicting hundreds of tenants with a 48 hour notice.
Now they are opening units again, advertising under a new name, despite owing over $140,000 to Newport News Waterworks for which they were sued last month.
"Defendant has made no good faith attempt to satisfy this outstanding duly owed just debt,” one of the suites reads.
It’s also mentioned that services may be “shut off” to force compliance, which would cause the building to fail inspection."
The listings claim the units will be fully renovated with prices from 1,225-$2,500 a month.
