Thinking about buying one of these wee scopes in the future, my Hitachi scope from the 80s is starting to get a little on the weird side and it's definitely on the old and heavy side. I'll never need Tek or even Rigol for the playing around and experimenting I like to do and I like that it's battery-operated. I love the size and the touchscreen feature too.
Anybody have any experiences with these wee units?
@kilroy_was_here If anything, don't buy an Owon. I had one at my job. At first it seemed good rnough for my light use (system programmer, needed it for the odd device driver or firmware-checks at board bringip time).
But ...
After just 5 years of veeeeery light use the potentiometers get really flaky. Turn VPOS by 2 degree, and the vertical position moves by 4 squares. Urgh.
